Tender description

ECMWF as the Entrusted Entity for the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) issued a contract for a service related to bias correction of observations in support of the further development of ECMWF's global reanalysis services under C3S. The 6th global reanalysis (ERA6) will use the (C++ based) Object-Oriented Prediction System (OOPS) and (Fortran-based) Integrated Forecasting System (IFS). This contract aims to meet the requirement to optimise the variational bias correction system under OOPS and IFS.
