Re-opening of Lots 1, 3, 4 and 6 on the Ethical Community Living Framework

Wigan Council are seeking to open up the following Lots of the 'Ethical Community Living Framework' to new ethical providers: - Home Care Services (Lot 1) - End of Life Care (Lot 3) - Complex Health Services including Nursing At Home for Adults and Children (Lot 4) - Housing with Care for Adults (Lot 6) This Framework operates under the "Light Touch Regime" of the Public Contract Regulations (2015) and is an existing Framework that is being opened up across OJEU to new members. Existing members do not need to re-apply. In Wigan, the Local Authority and the CCG are presently integrating under one shared Chief Executive and shared management team. With the developments of this joint commissioning function and greater integration our NHS colleagues will be helping to evaluate bids received and the CCG / Healthier Wigan Partnership wish to use Lots 3 and 4 in particular. The care and support will be delivered by skilled and compassionate workers, employed by a provider who offers excellent services based on responsible and supportive employment practice.
