In light of the HSE guidance and to understand the optimum time a FFP3 is worn in a healthcare setting, PHE would like to commission a study to understand the length of time health care workers will tolerate wearing FFP3 respirators in a hospital ward in order to inform national stockpiling arrangements and policy.
