Tender description

The Scope of Requirements is expected to include, but is not limited to provision of support and advice across a number of work packages: Work Package 1 (WP1) — Support EirGrid in the evaluation of potential HVDC technical solutions and prepare a technical report; Work Package 2 (WP2) — Support EirGrid in the technical documentation preparation for EPC Contracts procurement; Work Package (WP3) — EPC Procurement Support from publication of OJEU Notice to Contract Award; Optional work packages: Work Package (WP4) — Owner’s Engineer — Technical Support post EPC Contract Award to Commissioning; Work Package (WP5) — Owner’s Engineer — Technical Support from Commissioning through to the Operation and Maintenance of the scheme. EirGrid requires the provision of technical advice and support for the development of the Celtic Interconnector project. EirGrid intends to establish a single supplier framework. Once the Framework is in place, and as and when requirements arise, contracts will be awarded to the framework member.
