Tender description

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board are seeking suitable providers for the provision of independent consultancy to undertake Pan-Gwent cross sector Dementia Care Pathway Gap Analysis within this financial year. In order to complete the gap analysis you will need to engage with all statutory organisations within Gwent, and third sector organisations providing any element of support to Dementia patients along their journey. The Dementia Action Plan for Wales (2018) sets out the Welsh Government’s commitment to promoting the rights, dignity and autonomy of people living with dementia and the people who care for them. Welsh Government have aligned these identified actions to a care pathway approach and have made funding available to address any gaps in service provision aligned to these actions. To support the development of a strategic programme of work, it has been identified that a robust gap analysis would help identify opportunities to strengthen services, plug any gaps in service provision and learn from any areas of duplication. We would like to invite suitable providers to a market engagement day on Thursday, 13.9.2018. The morning will consist of an introduction to the Dementia Action Plan for Wales (2018) and afternoon will be for a one-to-one consultation with individual providers. Each consultation session will last up to a maximum of 30 minutes each and will be by appointment only running from 12:30 to 16:30. Lunch will not be provided.
