Tender description

Support, repair and maintenance of the LIPS battery fleet, chargers and associated equipment. Negotiated procedure without prior publication. The support, repair and maintenance of the LIPS battery fleet, chargers and associated equipment (the “Contract”). The batteries provided by Lincad are bespoke for the Authority’s ECM equipment and include important technological features. As the original designers and manufactures of the equipment, Lincad have the required knowledge, skills, experience and equipment to undertake repair and maintenance tasks, and to provide effective technical support functions. Lincad are the only organisation with access to the equipment and technical knowledge required to discharge the batteries in a controlled manner. Furthermore, as the Technical Authority, only Lincad have the ability to confirm that the batteries are discharged to the level required for transportation under IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, 58th Edition, 2017.
