Tender description
The London Borough of Havering are seeking to award a multi supplier framework agreement for the provision of Banking related services on behalf of London Borough of Havering, London Borough of Newham, London Borough of Bexley and all other London Borough Councils, including their local authority wholly owned companies, local authority trading companies, partnering organisations, and all educational related establishments within the geographical locations of those London boroughs. The procurement documentation will be available for unrestricted and full direct access, free of charge at the e-tendering portal https://www.capitalesourcing.com/ The estimated date(s) for publication of a contract notice within OJEU inviting tender submissions is early October 2018 The London Borough of Havering are seeking to award a multi supplier framework agreement for Banking related services on behalf of London Borough of Havering, London Borough of Newham, London Borough of Bexley and all other London Borough Councils as listed here https://www.directory.londoncouncils.gov.uk/ Including their local authority wholly owned companies, local authority trading companies, partnering organisations and, all educational related establishments such as but not limited to; schools, colleges, universities, within the geographical locations of those London boroughs as listed here as listed here https://get-information-schools.service.gov.uk/Establishments/Search?tok=8TBfY1Wc The scope of the services is expected to include the provision of: — multiple bank accounts including those for schools, appointeeships, companies associated with the authorities and other specified services; — prompt advice of all unpaid cheques and direct debits; — cash and cheque collection facilities at bank branches within the borders of the authorities; — statements; — BACS facilities — electronic banking services; — reconciliation data services; — credit facilities; — facilities to seek to address issues of disadvantage in line with the social value act. The authorities seek to make best use of technologies available and to ensure that their services are delivered in user friendly ways whilst seeking to optimise the efficiency of back-office operations. It is anticipated for tenderers to propose innovative suggestions as to how this strategy can be delivered. Tenderers should have been judged as having passed the Bank of England stress test on UK banks or equivalent EU bank test in the latest available reports and should be a member of “The Cheque and Credit Clearing Company”, or equivalent, known as “clearing banks”.
