Tender description

The Microbiology Department at York Hospital processes approximately 50 000 urine samples per year on the York site and 35 000 samples per year on the Scarborough site and provides this service on a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year basis. There is a requirement to process 200 – 300 urines per day and enable analysis of increasing volumes of workload at a level of 5-7 % per annum. The instrument must have a minimum process capacity of 80 samples per hour. Urine microscopy analysers.
