Tender description

The council requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide weed control services. The contractor shall be responsible for applying 2 applications during year 1 and 3 applications for each subsequent year of translocated herbicide to the adopted footpaths and highways within the Bradford District. The sprays shall be carried out at evenly spaced periods throughout the season. The date of the first spray shall be mutually agreed upon commencement of the contract. Each application must not take longer than 6 weeks to complete, and resources deployed /assumptions relating to “down time” (e.g. due to adverse weather) should be sufficient to ensure delivery within the required timescales.
