NWSSP Procurement Services hosted by Velindre Trust is seeking to establish an agreement for the supply of NGS Panel for CRUK Stratified Medicine Programme (Phase 2) on behalf of the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. Specifically, the Cancer Research United Kingdom SMP2 NRCC Panels and Trusight Tumor 170 Kits. The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board wish to inform the market that they intend to award a contract for the supply of consumables for the CRUK Stratified Medicine Programme Phase Two. The current contract is granted until Feb 2019, with extension for a further one year. Award of a contract without prior publication of a call for competition in the Official Journal of the European Union. Justification for selected award procedure: The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the Directive. Specifically, the Cancer Research United Kingdom SMP2 NRCC Panels and Trusight Tumor 170 Kits. The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board wish to inform the market that they intend to award a contract for the supply of consumables for the CRUK Stratified Medicine Programme Phase Two. The current contract is granted until Feb 2019, with extension for a further three years. Illumina is the only supplier capable of meeting these requirements. As a result of the Grant Award the Institute of Medical Genetics is tied into purchasing consumables that CRUK have selected and validated as the most appropriate for the required testing. The consumables are as follows: Cancer Research UK SMP2 NRCC panel With a view to change to the following kit in approx September 2018: TruSight Tumor 170 Kit (24 samples)
