QU121 - Network Cabling For Birmingham Adult Education Service (BAES) - AWARD

Tender description

Birmingham Adult Education Service requires a supplier for the provision of network cabling. This contract will be for a period of 5 years commencing 02 07 2018 until 01 07 2019. The supplier will be required to provide data links between comms cabinets to client devices including patch panelling. The supplier must also be able to provide fibre cabling where required. The supplier will be responsible for all works carried out including the 'make-good' of any areas. The works will take place over a maximum of 12 buildings all located within Birmingham. The supplier should be experienced in working in schools/educational areas. The supplier will be responsible for ensuring all supplier staff follow the on-site Health & Safety requirements for each building and are responsible for providing any required safety equipment. The supplier will be required to provide a sign-off sheet detailing the works carried out. The supplier will need to be able to provide a variety of cabling categories and should be aware of any new categories to meet each cabling requirement. Registration and use of in-tend is free.
