FOLLOW UP MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT PROVISION OF SHORT BREAK SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES Following a recent market engagement event on 13th June 2018, Haringey Council is inviting suppliers to a follow up event for the forthcoming tender for the Provision of Short Break Services for Children and Young People with Disabilities. The Market Engagement Event will take place on: Date: Wednesday, 12th September 2018 Time: 2:30pm to 4:00pm Venue: Haringey Civic Centre, High Road, Wood Green, N22 8LE (Please use postcode N22 8ZW if you are using SatNav) Please follow the link for direction: http://www.haringey.gov.uk/haringey_council_offices_wood_green.pdf The market engagement event will update suppliers on our commissioning intentions, provide an update on current timescales for the procurement process and offer potential service providers the opportunity to network and raise any questions or present any views prior to the commencement of the tender process. The proposed short breaks services model will be a framework contract, consisting of Lots for: • After school activities • Weekend activities • School holidays • Outreach • Overnight stays • All other short breaks services It is the intention of the Council to set up a framework with successful providers for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend for a further period of one (1) year.
