Tender description

The Waste Regulation and Crime Team in Defra are responsible for ensuring that: - the waste industry has an effective and enabling regulatory framework in which to operate - the regulators have the powers and enforcement tools to ensure regulatory compliance in the waste industry, and address poor performance and waste crime. This supports compliant businesses and prevents harm to the environment and human health. A key part of this is tackling fly-tipping and other illegal disposal of waste.
