Tender description

To appoint suitable qualified legal services providers to provide a responsive and comprehensive legal advisory and management service. The types of legal activity required will include advice and guidance on relevant law, drafting, negotiation and review of legal documents, advice and assistance on structuring of commercial transactions, advice and assistance on funding issues, compliance with relevant government policy and guidance, construction of contracts, licences and other legal documents, legal risk management, training as required. High value Non-Contentious Work, including but not limited to corporate and contractual joint ventures, public and private partnerships, high value ICT contracts, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds, bond issues, complex sale and leaseback funding and high value construction projects. High value Contentious Work, including but not limited to procurement challenges, high court litigation, adjudication/arbitrations matters, H and S prosecutions, public inquiries, HSE or police investigations, fraud investigations. Housing and Asset Management advice including but not limited to contract advice, arbitration, mediation, injunctions, partnering advice, disrepair, insurance disputes, health and safety, environmental claims, rent arrears, ASB, possession, eviction, service and leaseholder charges including s20 advice, tenancy agreements, disputes. Including but not limited to acquisition of land and property, joint venture transactions and LLP structures, development agreements, construction contracts, statutory agreements, planning appeals, bonds, collateral warranties, liability, property sales and disposals including leasehold advice, acquisition of land and property, development agreement, construction contracts, disposal of sites, disputes, easements, Rights to Buy, Stair-casing, Shared Ownership, property sales. Including but not limited to acquisition of land and property, joint venture transactions and LLP structures, development agreements, construction contracts, statutory agreements, planning appeals, bonds, collateral warranties, liability, property sales and disposals including leasehold advice, acquisition of land and property, development agreement, construction contracts, disposal of sites, disputes, easements, Rights to Buy, Stair-casing, Shared Ownership, property sales. This Lot will also include any property type work that may otherwise sit within Lot 4, if it is specifically related to a development scheme. Including but not limited to work related to shared ownership sales and private sales/disposals. Including but not limited to public procurement, contract law, sale of goods and services, confidentiality, regulatory law, company law, articles of association and shareholder agreements, corporate agreements, joint ventures, taxation, venture capital advice, insolvency law, business acquisitions, employment law, equal opportunities, pensions, organisational change, and outsourcing. Including but not limited to advice on internal processes and procedures, internal disciplinary and grievance hearings, absence from work, compromise agreements and exit packages,employment tribunal claims, including advocacy,pensions advice, including Local Government Pension Fund and Defined Contribution Scheme, Diversity, TUPE issues
