Tender description

The Commissioner wishes to place the services for monitoring of anticoagulant therapy within primary and community, rather than secondary care locations within the geographic boundary of NHS Thanet Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). Out of hospital anticoagulation service for medication that requires International Normalized Ratio (INR) monitoring. This service is offered to the market utilising an Any Qualified Provider (AQP) process. It is essential that interested providers are able to demonstrate their ability to mobilise the service provision to ensure a service commencement date 1.9.2018. Under the terms of an AQP, no activity is guaranteed and is therefore entered into as a zero value, zero volume contract.
