Tender description

Sandwell MBC wishes to tender for a high quality School Health Nursing Service that will improve outcomes for children, young people and families in Sandwell. The service model is based on the Department of Health’s evidence-based programme of best practice; Healthy Child Programme, and will provide an invaluable opportunity from early in a child’s life to identify families that are in need of additional support and children who are at risk of poor outcomes. The aim of the School Health Nursing service is to provide a key role in the reduction of child health inequalities through the provision of health promotion and education, early identification of needs, targeted interventions and signposting to other services for school-aged children.
