Gypsy & Traveller Accommodation Assessment for South Worcestershire (South Worcestershire Development Plan Review)

Tender description

The Gypsy & Traveller Accommodation Assessment (GTAA) is required to cover the area of south Worcestershire and provide robust evidence, which clearly informs the review of the South Worcestershire Development Plan (SWDP). The SWDP review is seeking to balance the area's future needs for housing and employment growth with its environmental limitations. The SWC require a GTAA to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date assessment of unmet current need and future needs for permanent and transit accommodation of all groups of Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople as defined in Annex 1 of the NPPF across south Worcestershire during the period to 2041. The Study should be capable of disaggregating need on an individual authority basis and fulfil the requirements as set out in the project methodology set out in the quality criteria section below and in the Consultant's Proposal.
