Tender description

This is an Open Invitation to tender where suitably qualified service providers are invited to respond for the supply of specialist legal and IPR advice and services. The primary service required is the preparation of an advisory document that will inform an IPR procedures report for EMSO ERIC. The IPR policy of EMSO ERIC is defined in Article 21 of the Statutes attached in Appendix 3. The advisory document will provide expert legal advice and assistance that will refine and update the existing EMSO ERIC IPR policy to include the following considerations: • assess the legal and risk issues faced by EMSO ERIC regarding ownership of IP • create procedures for the commercialisation of products or services developed within EMSO ERIC • assess the options for protecting IPR between EMSO ERIC and its members • explore IP for new technologies and background IP that was in place before consortium established/project started • recommendations for ownership of IP for new technologies developed in EMSO ERIC Further details are available in the attached Invitation to Tender document.
