Development and supply/operation of a telephone operated crisis pregnancy counselling service

Tender description

HSE invites responses from qualified service providers for the provision of a telephone operated counselling service for crisis pregnancy/post abortion clients to the HSE. A telephone operated crisis pregnancy/post abortion counseling service contract will initially be for the provision of a 20 hour a week service, for a period of 36 months including a 12 month pilot following which a review of the service will take place to gauge success of pilot. The primary objective of the service is to provide a national telephone/online counselling service to individuals affected by a crisis pregnancy and to provide post abortion support. The service will be provided via a freephone telephone number and will serve as the first point of contact to those seeking support and information in relation to a crisis/unplanned pregnancy. Callers who wish to discuss the three options of parenting adoption and abortion in relation to their pregnancy will be provided with such information in the context of a counselling session under the provisions of the Regulation of Information (Services outside the State for the Termination of Pregnancies
