Tender description

BIM’s Fisheries Conservation Section tests and develops technical solutions to assist fishers and managers in addressing challenges posed by the LO. This work consists of trials on board commercial fishing vessels to assess new gear modifications, and lab experiments to assess post capture survival of species caught in fishing gear. Cutting edge data management and analysis techniques as well as lab facilities are needed to ensure that the Irish Fishing Industry benefits from the best available advice. BIM invites proposals to help deliver on these services. The maximum duration of this contract will be three (3) years and BIM reserve the right to cancel the contract at any point giving one month’s notice.
