Tender description

The overall objective of the Stockport Festive Lights programme is to provide a co-ordinated and cohesive illuminated festive display across a range of sites and locations within the Borough of Stockport throughout the months of November and December and the first week of January in each year of the contract. Design, manufacture, hire and certification of festive light features including, though not limited to, motifs and cross-street displays. The installation, maintenance and removal of festive features. All necessary testing, including eye bolt and catenary wire testing and replacement as necessary. All brackets and fixtures necessary for attaching the Christmas lights to the various lamp columns, buildings, features etc. Handling and responding to all enquiries within agreed timescales. Liaising with the client in relation to light switch on events, attending these switch on events and ensuring the lights are switched on at agreed locations and at agreed times. Emergency call out to cover repairs and/or replacement. Night time inspections. Design, manufacture, hire and certification of festive light features including, though not limited to, motifs. Delivery of the features on agreed dates and to agreed sites within the borough of Stockport. The collection of the features on agreed dates and from agreed sites within the borough of Stockport. The storage of all features. The annual refurbishment of the features and/or annual replacement with new features. All necessary fixtures and fittings, including any necessary brackets. Emergency call out to cover repairs and/or replacement. The manufacture, supply and delivery of pea lights (to go onto Christmas trees).
