718 - Tube Furnace

Tender description

The Centre for Process Innovation Ltd (CPI) requires the following; CPI requires an "off the shelf" (i.e. non-bespoke) split tube furnace capable of a maximum temperature of 1,200°C and an operating temperature up to 1,100°C. The furnace should be equipped with replaceable quartz tubes and capable of operating under air, inert or vacuum atmospheres. A series of relevant accessories are required including radiation shields (atmospheric and inert), insulation, extended work tubes, gas - tube fittings, vacuum tube fittings and a rotary vein pump. Full data logging, programmable temperature profiles and over temperature protections should be fitted. In addition, a 60L stoving oven is required for pre-drying of paste materials. All items should be CE marked and capable of operating from a single phase supply. Consumables and maintenance and servicing of the tub furnace is also covered under the scope of this contract.
