16-25 Years Leaving Care & Vulnerable Young People Accommodation & Support Purchasing System

Purchasing system arrangement for the purchase of Accommodation and Support for Young People Leaving Care and Vulnerable Young People that will be used by Bradford, Calderdale and Wakefield Councils. To provide high quality placement arrangements for young people leaving care and vulnerable young people. This will provide a suitable package of accommodation and support to meet the individual needs of a young person and support their transition to living independently. The Local authorities are seeking to commission provision within or close to West Yorkshire, providers should have provision that is located in the boundary of West Yorkshire, that is within 15 miles of the local authority boundary for Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds or Wakefield. Once the initial system is established we will evaluate submissions from new providers on an annual basis. It is planned that this will be done in January each year, starting in January 2020.
