001073 ESTATES MAINTENANCE (FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SERVICES) (LOT 1)

Tender description

The British Library is seeking a Potential Contractor, with a proven track record in delivering technically demanding Estates Maintenance Services in comparable environments. It is anticipated that all services will be underpinned by technology, robust policies and procedures which will at all times reflect industry best practice within an environment of continuous improvement. The selected Contractor’s innovative approach will ensure resilient services to the Client’s customers and will drive efficiencies resulting in improved value for money to the Client. The selected Contractor’s partnership approach and effective communications will also ensure that there are good relations with all parties and that synergies are maximised with the Client’s other contractors. The duration of the contract will be 4 years, with possible extensions of a further +1+1+1 years, and will commence on 1st July 2019. There will separately be Lot 2 - 001074 Guarding (Facilities Management Services) Contractors are permitted to apply for one or both Lots but each submission will be evaluated in isolation and scored separately.
