The aim of the Programme is to maximise screening sensitivity (diagnosing the disease in the population who have the disease) whilst also maximising screening specificity (correctly identifying those who do not have the disease). Provision of the following services — Test and training requirements, — Maintain image database, — Assessment and feedback requirements, — Identification of outlier requirements, — Maintain relationships with breast radiologists and be up to date with latest developments, — Develop a website and maintain a website outlying the performance of the scheme.
