UWE Bristol is seeking to source and implement an integrated Project Information and Management System (PIMS) for all externally-funded projects including research, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and other contracts. The system will support project approval and management across the project life cycle. It will: — support and enable the process of bidding for externally-funded projects, — meet the needs of a wide range of external data requirements (REF, HEFCE, HESA, RCUK), — support and enhance processes and performance for Research Excellence, league table position and HEFCE QR funding, — support internal performance monitoring and external benchmarking of research and KE performance for groups and individuals, — support and ensure effective processes of research governance including data integrity and management. UWE Bristol is seeking to source and implement an integrated Project Information and Management System (PIMS) for all externally-funded projects including research, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and other contracts. The system will support project approval and management across the project lifecycle. It will provide comprehensive data on the University’s research staff and their activities including outputs and associated metadata, bidding and projects and other REF information. It will manage and provide access to comprehensive metrics for evaluation and benchmarking.
