Tender description

Provision of 15 to 21 Adult functional acute beds in the Lancashire footprint. With appropriate consideration given to the delivering of care closest to home, adopting a whole system approach. Either sole provider or lead provider model are sought. The Adult Acute provision will be for individuals known to Lancashire Care Foundation Trust with a wide range of mental health issues who are experiencing a mental health crisis that cannot be managed at home and are in need of an inpatient acute admission for either a male or female bed. It is anticipated that LCFT will look to confirm an award by the end of April 2018 with first admissions to begin concurrently. Providers are asked to respond to the Authority detailing fully their capability and credibility to receive admissions to the required Mental Health beds in Lancashire.
