Tender description
Southend–on-Sea Borough Council is inviting tenders from members of ‘The Cheque and Credit Clearing Company’, or equivalent, known as clearing banks for the provision of Banking Services and Credit Card Facilities to the Council. The services shall include the following four elements, which are to be provided by the same bank on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender: Main Banking Services, Merchant Credit Card Facilities, Government Procurement/Corporate/Commercial Credit/Payment/Purchase Card Facilities and Court of Protection/Corporate Appointee client money service. We are seeking to award a five year contract to run from 1st April 2019 with an option to extend for a further two years, subject to agreement and satisfactory performance. Tenderer should have been judged as having passed the Bank of England stress test on UK banks or equivalent EU Bank test in the latest available records. Keywords: banking, credit card
