Midlands & Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) on behalf of NHS West Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group (WL CCG), would like to invite providers to attend a 'market engagement event' on Monday 17 September 2018, which will inform the market of the commissioners' intentions to procure the GP Extended Access service. The main benefits and expected outcomes are: • Equity of access and quality of the service across WL CCG. • Ensuring value for money and the most efficient use of available resources across the health and social care economy. • Promoting and ensuring a positive patient experience. • Aligning services to the General Practice Forward View (GPFV). The market engagement event will take place on: Date: Monday 17 September 2018 Address: TBC West Lancashire address Time: 11.00am - 12.30pm Please register at the reception upon arrival The event will provide an opportunity to: • Get an overview of the service to be provided. • Learn details of the anticipated contract type, length and conditions. • Gain an overview of the procurement process and the anticipated timelines. • Provide an opportunity for you to ask questions and feedback on the presentations.
