Dartford Borough Council invites companies to quote Corporate maintenance Repairs measured Term Contract 2018-20. Dartford Borough Council is the smallest borough in Kent and is bordered on three sides by other authorities and the River Thames on the fourth. Dartford own various commercial properties and pieces of land around the borough which have a wide variety of uses. Scope of the Contract: The Council wishes to award a contract for Corporate maintenance Repairs measured Term Contract 2018-20 The contract will be a 2 year measured term contract for carrying out general building maintenance to a variety of commercial buildings and land including cemeteries, office buildings community centres and places for entertainment. Reconciliation will be via BCIS schedules of rates 2016 and agreed hourly rates. The trades included in this contract will be; general builders, plumbers, carpenters, bricklayers. Electrical and mechanical trades are usually carried out by other contractors. The approximate value per annum of the contract is £45,000 +VAT although the council does not guarantee this sum as, this is an estimate based on the average of past years’ value. The contract will be to carry out minor reactive repairs whose response time will be based on the priority number given when ordered i.e. Priority 1 – Emergency Works, attend site to make safe within 2 hours of the verbal instruction, works to be completed within 24 hours.
