Tender description

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine require a Tractor and Maize Harvester.The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine is the statutory organisation in the state responsible for evaluating varieties of various crops including forage maize in joint National List (NL) and Recommended List (RL) trials. This comprehensive trialling programme evaluates the latest varieties submitted by breeders and Irish seed agents in order to select the best performers under Irish conditions. The best performing varieties that have been proven to perform in Irish conditions will result in commercial benefits to the Irish agri-food sector.
