Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) would like to procure the services of an external provider to provide Endoscopy insourcing services to NHS patients. The purpose of insourcing is to extend capacity and ensure that the Trust has sufficient capacity to meet demand. The additional work will take place at weekends in the Nottingham City Hospital Endoscopy Unit. This is a light touch procurement exercise for the provision of Insourced Endoscopy Services. Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) would like to procure the services of an external provider to provide Endoscopy insourcing services to NHS patients. The purpose of insourcing is to extend capacity and ensure that the Trust has sufficient capacity to meet demand. The additional work will take place at weekends in the Nottingham City Hospital Endoscopy Unit. NUH currently envisages that this kind of additional weekend capacity is likely to continue to be required for the foreseeable future and therefore would be seeking to award a contract for an initial period of 2 years with 3 optional extension periods of 12 months each.
