This PIN notice is intended to inform your organisation that, subject to the relevant Council governance processes being completed, the Council intends to commission a Floating and Community Support Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities. This PIN notice is intended to inform your organisation that, subject to the relevant Council governance processes being completed, the Council intends to commission a Floating and Community Support Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities. This service shall deliver high quality, strengths based support for people to live well in their own homes and their communities. Key features of the new model include: — Will provide a more diverse offer of support, such as mechanisms for flexible use of personal budgets, shared hours and peer support, — Divided across 2 localities, North and South, aligning with the neighbourhoods used in the Supporting People at Home services, — More focused on partnerships with the Camden Learning Disabilities Service (CLDS), health and social care services and wider community organisations, — More focused on shorter term interventions that deliver meaningful independence outcomes for people with a learning disability Subject to relevant Council governance, it is envisaged that a tender opportunity will be published in early September 2018 and advertised through OJEU, Contracts finder and Compete4. The tender documents will be available via the Council's tendering system, EU Supply (https://uk.eu-supply.com/). It is intended for the procurement to have two stages. The Stage 1 deadline will be in early October 2018 and the Stage 2 (final) tender deadline will be in late November 2018. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in January 2019 and the contract of three years (with two additional one year extensions, at the sole discretion of the Council) will start in April 2019.
