Tender description
The service relates to the provision of Annual Dry Dockings, slipping for routine repairs and classification and MCA survey of up to 32 Ro-Ro and passenger ferries ranging from approximately 20 m to 118 m for CalMac Ferries Limited. The scope of work will comprise of main and intermediate dry dockings, with additional maintenance, repairs and replacements as required including modifications, upgrades, project work and emergency dockings. The buyer is using PCS-Tender to conduct this EPSD/ITT exercise. 3 small vessels, the Loch Striven, Loch Tarbet and Loch Ranza for the provision of Annual Overhauls, emergent works, repairs, dry docking/slipping and emergency docking, project work, modifications and upgrades. This will be a multiple participant framework for 1 year. Load Line Notations: — Loch Striven: Valid only on the West Coast of Scotland service inside the inner islands, and between Kishorn and Largs and Mull of Kintyre and Stornoway in reasonable weather. — Loch Tarbert: Service restricted to West Coast of Scotland service inside the outer islands and in the Sound of Harris. — Loch Ranza: Valid while the vessel is engaged on the West Coast of Scotland service inside the inner islands, and between Kishorn and Largs and Mull of Kintyre and Stornoway in reasonable weather. Also occasional service as relief for Lochnevis between Mallaig, isle of Skye, Eigg, muck, Rum and Canna in reasonable weather and in accordance with MCA operational limits. 4 vessels Lord of the Isles, Caledonian Isles, Isle of Lewis, Hebrides for the provision of Annual Overhauls, emergent works, repairs, dry docking/slipping and emergency docking, project work, modifications and upgrades. This will be a multiple participant framework for 1 year. Isle of Arran no overhaul planned in this framework, included for other works. Load Line Notations: — Lord of the Isles: West Coast of Scotland and Western Isles Service and UK ports for survey in reasonable weather. — Caledonian Isles: West coast of Scotland and western Isles and North Coast of Scotland and Orkney Isles and voyages to UK ports for survey in reasonable weather. — Isle of Arran: West coast of Scotland and western Isles and North Coast of Scotland and Orkney Isles and voyages to UK ports for survey in reasonable weather. — Hebrides: West Coast of Scotland and Western Isles Service and UK ports for survey in reasonable weather. — Isle of Lewis: West Coast of Scotland and Western Isles Service and UK ports for survey in reasonable weather. 4 vessels Hebridean Isles, Isle of Mull, Clansman and Finlaggan for the provision of Annual Overhauls, emergent works, repairs, dry docking/slipping and emergency docking, project work, modifications and upgrades. This will be a multiple participant framework for 1 year. Loch Seaforth no overhaul planned in this framework, included for other work. Load Line Notations: — Hebridean Isles: West coast of Scotland and western Isles and North Coast of Scotland and Orkney Isles and voyages to UK ports for survey in reasonable weather. — Isle of Mull and Clansman: West Coast of Scotland and Western Isles Service and UK ports for survey in reasonable weather. — Finalggan: EU (B). — Loch Seaforth: British Domestic Waters EU (B). 4 vessels, the Loch Shira, Loch Portain, Loch Fyne and Coriusk for the provision of Annual Overhauls, emergent works, repairs, dry docking/slipping,emergency docking, project work, modifications and upgrades. This will be a multiple participant framework for 1 year. Lochnevis, Loch Dunvegan, Argyle and Bute no overhaul planned in this framework, included for other works. Load Line Notations: — Loch Shira: Restricted to River Clyde and Firth of Clyde — Loch Portain: The sound of Harris with occasional visits to UK ports in reasonable weather. — Loch Fyne and Loch Dunvegan: Valid only on the West Coast of Scotland service inside the inner islands, and between Kishorn and Largs and Mull of Kintyre and Stornoway in reasonable weather. — Coruisk: Voyages within limits of the Passenger certificate between the ports on the West Coast of Scotland and the Western isles of Scotland. Voyages to ports in the UK without passengers or cargo and in favourable weather for docking, repair or surveys and repositioning voyages. — Lochnevis: Valid for the West Coast of Scotland inside the outer islands service with occasional service to other UK ports in reasonable weather for survey/overhaul. — Argyle and Bute: Restricted to River Clyde and Firth of Clyde. 2 vessels, the Catriona and Lochinvar for the provision of Annual Overhauls, emergent works, repairs, dry docking/slipping, emergency docking, project work, modifications and upgrades. This will be a multiple participant framework for 1 year. Hallaig no overhaul currently planned in this framework, included for other works. Load Line Notations: — Catriona, Lochinvar and Hallaig: Valid for vessels operating on the West Coast of Scotland in EU Category C or D waters. Also valid for transfer, without cargo or passengers, between routs on the West Coast of Scotland and for proceeding to UK ports for overhaul or repair by transiting inside the inner Isles and subject to the same weather conditions as EU category C or D waters. 2 small vessels, the MV Argyll Flyer and the MV Ali Cat for the provision of Annual Overhauls, emergent works, repairs dry docking / slipping and emergency docking, project work, modifications and upgrades. This will be a multiple participant framework for 1 year. Restricted to River Clyde and Firth of Clyde – Small vessels 4 vessels, the Loch Buie, Loch Alainn and Loch Bhrusda and Isle of Cumbrae for the provision of Annual Overhauls, emergent works, repairs, dry docking/slipping, emergency docking, project work, modifications and upgrades. This will be a multiple participant framework for 1 year. Loch Linnhe and Loch Riddon no overhaul planned in this framework, included for other works. Load Line Notations: — Loch Buie: Valid only whilst the vessel is engaged on West Coast of Scotland service, inside the inner islands and between Kishorn and Largs. — Loch Alainn: West Coast of Scotland Service, inside the inner islands between Kishorn and Largs and for voyages to and from UK ports for survey in reasonable weather. — Loch Bhrusda: Service restricted to West Coast of Scotland service inside the outer islands and in the Sound of Harris. — Isle of Cumbrae: Has a load line exemption to allow her to proceed to Lochaline and Raasay, and operate to passenger service as defined in Class IV, V and Euro C (R)and for survey and maintenance. — Loch Linnhe and Loch Riddon: Valid only on the West Coast of Scotland service inside the inner islands, and between Kishorn and Largs and Mull of Kintyre and Stornoway in reasonable weather.
