Tender description

King’s College London is seeking to purchase an Investigational 3T head-only MRI system. The scanner will be a resource for King’s College London researchers and will be sited at the KCL managed MRI Unit in the NIHR / Wellcome Trust King's Clinical Research Facility, GF Floor, Cheyne Wing, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Denmark Hill, London, SE5 9RS. Currently there is no system on the market able to deliver a head-only high-performance MR gradient system for imaging brain microstructure. Other manufacturers are focused on whole-body MR systems but we require a dedicated head-only system for our neurological and psychiatry studies.
