Housing Related Support - Soft Market Testing Events

Bury Council is seeking to engage with existing and potential providers of Housing Related Support (for single homeless people, homeless families, those with mental health needs, those with substance misuse problems, young people (including care leavers and teenage parents), people that have fled/fleeing domestic abuse and ex-offenders) to help to shape a new model for services. We are holding four soft market testing events to explore the model of delivery and consult on our future intentions. Each event will cover a different lotted theme as follows: Lot 1 Communal accommodation and support for people 18 years and above Wednesday September 5th 2018, 10am - 1pm Lot 2 Neighbourhood based support for people 18 years and above a) Floating support with assistance to access accommodation b) Floating support Tuesday September 11th 2018, 10am - 1pm Lot 3 Domestic abuse support for people 18 years and above Wednesday September 19th 2018, 10am - 1pm Lot 4 Young People, 16 to 21 years and to 25 years (care leavers and teenage parents) Tuesday September 25th 2018, 10am - 1pm All events will be held in the Peel Room- Elizabethan Suite, Bury Town Hall, Knowsley Street, Bury BL9 0SW If you would like to attend, please email by the 31st August, John Allen, Provider Relationship Officer- john.allen@bury.gov.uk.
