Tender description

In order for North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG and Surrey Heath CCG to further develop as well contribute to the work streams within Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System, on the back of the evaluations and reviews of both Vanguard and New Models of Care Programmes, the CCG’s intend to direct award a 12 month contract (effectively extending the service under the existing contract arrangements) rather than undertake a competitive procurement process, the rationale and evidence to support this decision can be obtained by registering on In-tend and accessing a document with full details. The Direct Award will be for a period of 12 months with the longer term aim will be for the services to be procured through a competitive tender process with a new contract start date of the 1.4.2020. The services are healthcare services for the NHS falling within Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the Regulations) which are not subject to the full regime of the Regulations, but is instead governed by the Light Touch Regime contained within Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Regulations (Regulations 74 to 76). The closing date of this PIN is midnight on the 10.9.2018.
