Tender description

The aim of Community health stop smoking service aim is to deliver high quality, evidence-based stop smoking interventions to all smokers living in Lewisham. The Stop smoking service will improve access to, and choice of delivery channels, to deliver locally agreed quit targets including: Actively refer and support highly motivated smokers through ‘digital self-help intervention’ Develop hub/neighbourhood based face-to-face services motivate and assist dependent and moderately dependent smokers to quit Target groups most at risk from smoking for intensive and specialist support to stop. Ensure ‘MECC’ is achieved through the provision of VBA training to the frontline workforce It is expected that the successful tenderer will begin provision of the service(s) in January 2019. This Agreement is for an initial period of 2 years, with the possibility of extensions totalling up to an additional year, at the Council’s discretion.
