Tender description

This contract will be awarded via the negotiated procedure without prior publication as an extension of PO 7590 — Sierra Leone Secondary education improvement programme (SSEIP), the education programme that Mott MacDonald T/A Cambridge Education are delivering. The Sierra Leone Secondary education improvement programme (SSEIP) delivers improved learning outcomes for boys and girls at upper primary and secondary level and delivers support to increase the enrollment, retention and wellbeing of girls in school in Sierra Leone. A contract amendment will be made to PO 7950 — Sierra Leone Secondary education improvement programme (SSEIP). This procedure will increase the contract value from 33 242 882,74 GBP to 37 995 495 GBP, a total of 4 752 612,26 GBP. Article 9 states, "The negotiated procedure without prior publication may be used for new works and services consisting of the repetition of similar works or services entrusted to the economic operator to which the same Contracting Authority awarded an original contract, provided that such works or services are in conformity with a basic project for which the original contract was awarded following a procedure in accordance with regulation 26(1) and (2)." New services will be procured which consist of a repetition of similar services in supporting secondary education improvements in Sierra Leone.
