Tender description

The project will develop our knowledge of the internal market for quota in the UK, how fishing opportunities are traded between vessels, producer organisations (POs) and the inshore fleet pools (i.e. MMO). This will help us to improve the delivery of our fisheries management policy, and understand the efficiency of exchanging fishing opportunity allocation across UK fleets. The project will improve our understanding of existing issues, and provide a range of appraised options for reforming our management policies.
