Tender description

Re issue of Pre-market engagement for facilities management initiative. Translink has recently reviewed its procurement strategy for soft facilities management and support service requirements. It is intended that a consolidated Facilities management contract be established with the aim of identifying efficiencies across the Translink Group with the aim of achieving the following: 1) Delivery of efficient and effective responsive services 2) Delivery of significant cost savings 3) Flexibility to meet individual business needs and changing requirements 4) KPI performance monitoring — a vital aspect of ensuring that FM works efficiently The proposed soft FM areas for inclusion in this contract are 1) Cleaning Services approx annual value 560 000 GBP 2) Vending Services — Revenue Contract 3) Washroom and Hygiene Services — approx annual value 250 000 GBP 4) Forensic Cleaning Service (bus and Rail) approx annual value 35 000 GBP 5) Pest Control — approx annual value 65 000 GBP 6) Salting Services — approx annual value 65 000 GBP It is anticipated that this contract will commence on 1.6.2019. Before embarking on a tender process, we wish to engage with the market place to gather intelligence which will inform the sourcing strategy for this contract and thus, the procurement process. We are therefore seeking to engage with experienced (soft) facilities management providers, which are capable of fulfilling all of the requirements listed above. Please note: To ensure best use of valuable time for both Translink and interested suppliers, only suppliers who can demonstrate their experience in relevant, similar-sized contracts should register at this stage. Please note: For those suppliers who previously emailed their interest, do not need to email their interest again, as we have their contact details and will be in contact towards the end of August to arrange meetings.
