Design & Build – New Splash Park and Play Area – Lee on the Solent Seafront

Gosport Borough Council wishes to develop the existing Skate Park adjacent to the Beach Road car park, Lee on the Solent to provide a splash park and play area suitable for younger children. The works will include (but not limited to) the provision of: • a new building incorporating the plant room for the water storage chlorination and re-circulation plant, family changing areas and a ‘Changing Places’ toilet facility; • surfacing including a rubberised splash pad, artificial grass and hard surfaces; • splash park water features; • waste water system, tanks & pumping station; • shading and seating; • fencing and traditional play equipment The project will include working with the Council in taking the core design of the proposed facility and developing those proposals through to final design, construction and delivery. Suitably qualified, interested contractors should download and complete the attached Suitability Assessment Questionnaire and return it to the Council on or before the closing date.
