Tender description

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust wishes to sub contract a consultant-led dermatology acute and community service managing both general dermatology, 2-week wait (skin cancer) outpatient and day case procedure service providing assessment and treatment for skin disorders. The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust wishes to sub contract a consultant-led dermatology acute and community service managing both general dermatology, two week wait (skin cancer) outpatient and day case procedure service providing assessment and treatment for skin disorders. The service will focus not just on treating skin disorder but also on raising awareness and understanding of the importance of long term skin care and the prevention of skin disease, in particular skin cancer. It is expected that the service is located both at SaTH premises (number of sessions to be determined, currently anticipated to be four) and within a radius of 20 miles from the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (SY3 8XQ). The term of the contract will be for the period until 31.3.2021, extendable by up to a maximum 2 years (with extension discussions to begin no later than Q2 of final year of the initial term).
