Before launching a procurement procedure, PSNI and Central Procurement Directorate (CPD) are conducting pre-market engagement with a view to preparing the procurement and to inform economic operators / warm the market to the opportunity of the future procurement requirements. Following the receipt of completed questionnaires and using the list of interested parties captured, more detailed research /consultation /product exploration /surgery may take place. This may involve demonstration of the equipment from an operational and technical perspective to inform the specification.
