Thurrock Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Architectural team to support its proposal to develop a site in South Ockendon. This phased commission will have 3 key components: — to achieve a planning approval for a new interim care and older persons accommodation scheme as the initial phase of development at this location, — a master plan for the site to accommodate a range of buildings for care (as above), residential, community and health provision. — the Council intends to retain the Architect as design advisor through to completion of a resultant design and build contract for construction of the interim care and older persons accommodation.
