Tender description

Framework agreement for the provision of taxi transport services for children, young people and vulnerable adults with special educational needs and/or disability (SEND). Award of a framework agreement for the provision of SEND taxi services. The SEND taxi service provides the council with vehicles, drivers and passenger assistants to accompany children and young people to their place of education and may also be utilised for vulnerable adults on their journeys where required. The SEND taxi service is mainly used by the Contracting Authority to support delivery of its statutory transport duties to support children and young people with SEND to travel to/from school/college, and to support vulnerable adults assessed as eligible to receive travel support.
