The detailed procedure for award was set out in the instructions. The London Borough of Camden (“the Authority”) sought to award up to 5 block contracts for the provision of up to 100 nursing beds from a selection of providers in and around the borough under a block contract arrangement. Full details of the service requirements were set out in the specification. This opportunity followed the “Light Touch” regime for “Social and Other Specific Services” in line with Chapter 3, Section 7 of the public contracts Regulations 2015. Please see instruction to tenderers for additional information. The procurement procedure was a one-stage process, with an element of negotiation.
