Tender description
Extra Care Housing is housing designed with the needs of frailer older people in mind whom may have a requirement for varying levels of care and support to be available on site. People who live in Extra Care Housing Schemes have their own self-contained homes, with their own front door and a legal right to occupy the property. Each of the Extra Care Schemes within the scope of the Framework is purpose built. It is a popular housing choice among older people because the care provision available can sometimes provide an alternative to a care home. This Framework is for the delivery of care and support to individuals within Extra Care schemes in Staffordshire with an assessed social care need.
