School-meal services

Tender description

Providing healthy and good quality catering services at a group of primary schools who are looking to appoint a catering contractor to provide school meals from September 2018. The contract is for an initial period of 3 years with two optional 1 year extensions. The bidding contractors must be able to show a proven track record of operating similar contracts within budget and guidelines. You must be able to show an innovative approach to providing a school meal service in lines with healthy eating and sourcing fresh local produce. Note: the site visit will take place as follows: — Bedale C of E Primary School 12:30 - 1:30 pm 8th May, — Colburn Community Primary School 12:00 - 1:10 pm 23rd May, — Masham C of E Primary 11:15 - 12:15 pm 8th May, — Spofforth C of E Primary School 11:45 - 12:20 pm 9th May, — Follifoot Primary School 12:30 - 1:30 pm 9th May, — Goldsborough Primary School 12:30 - 1:30 pm 22nd May, — Sicklinghall Primary School 11:45 - 12:30 pm 22nd May, — Scotton Lingerfield Primary School 11:45 - 1:00 pm 22nd May. Note: deadline for return of tender is midday 1.6.2018 using the corresponding form of acknowledgement. Presentations to the schools will be held on 11.6.2018. Please note that this tender falls under the regulations of the light touch regime of the public contracts Regulations 2015.
