Tender description

The supply of a mobile tool capable of measuring track geometry on Network Rail rail track. Network Rail Infrastructure Limited (“NR”) intends to place a contract with Abtus Limited to build and supply 80 Mobile track geometry measurement tools (“the Tool”) designed and built to the same specification as the prototype model which was designed and built in conjunction with NR staff and the Tool manufacturer Abtus Limited. This contract relates to the supply of a mobile track geometry measurement tool capable of detecting and measuring cyclic top. Network Rail wish to procure 80 tools to suffice the needs of the network. The Tool will also be able to measure the following: — Super Elevation (Cant), — Twist, — Gauge.
